In recognition of International Women’s Day (IWD) and Women’s History Month, Women Influencing Louisville invites you to join us as we explore how to Inspire Inclusion to empower women. We have curated a virtual library of books and videos to explore. The hope is that we foster a deeper understanding of Inclusion and we Inspire participation to promote inclusivity within your own environments.

Inclusivity of women matters because it promotes equality and diversity.  Women bring unique perspectives and skills that can enhance decision-making, innovation, and productivity. Inclusion also ensures that women's rights are respected, and their potential is fully utilized.

Shattering the Glass Ceiling:

Suffrage Strategies to Empower a New Generation 

As part of Laura Bache's Girl Scout Gold Award project, she wrote and produced an interactive film on the suffrage movement in collaboration with the Alice Paul Institute. Watch the trailer for "Her Voice, Our Vote" and learn how to schedule a group screening of the film here!

Laura also successfully nominated the Nugent House (a historic meeting place for Black suffragists in Louisville) to the National Register. Read more about the Nugent House here!
