Attendees explored how various personality types influenced communication decision-making, and workplace dynamics. They uncovered their unique and preferences while discovering practical tips for fostering stronger connections and collaborating effectively with colleagues who had different approaches. Being On / Being Off:
Controlling the Inside,
When You Can't Control the Outside

Friday, May 15, 2026

Led by Anne Gardner Darku, this session focused on empowering women leaders to reconnect with their authentic selves, manage energy intentionally, and lead with clarity and self-trust through somatic practices and emotional intelligence tools. Together, we explored what it means to be “on” in a way that feels aligned rather than performative, and how to intentionally turn “off” to restore the mind, body, and nervous system.

AI in the Workplace & Personal Use

Best Practice Sharing Session

June 18th, 2026

Women Influencing Louisville hosted an interactive best-practice sharing session focused on AI in the workplace and in personal life. It was a lively, participant-driven discussion where we swapped practical wins, lessons learned, and smart guardrails.

We dug into topics like:

  • Where AI is creating real value?

  • Balancing innovation + risk + ethics without slowing progress

  • How AI is changing “good work” and good judgment

  • The habits we should start (or stop) to stay effective and responsible

  • Where boundaries are between personal AI use and workplace expectations

We gathered a well-rounded group with diverse perspectives—from AI power-users to curious learners—and everyone left with ideas they could actually use the next day.
